My name is Luca and I was born in Rome on December 31, 1985. Mine is a completely self-taught course, I did not attend any Academy or course (which I would do, however, if I could go back). I lived two years in Spain (Barcelona) and that’s where I first approached the world of art or whatever. My first passion was photography, which I still cultivate today, and I often like to mix illustrations with photos.
Once back in Rome, I started to draw and I can safely say that I have never stopped doing it. For me it is something that is part of my everyday life. It’s something that makes me feel good.
In fact, everything inspires me.
If you take a good look at my Instagram profile you’ll notice considerable changes of style in alternate periods, this is because every time I’m captured by something different. The creation process is always different from each other and this is fundamental for me: I think it’s due to the fact that mine is a research in constant evolution. There are many artists that I admire and inspire myself: lately I’ve been following Jennifer Pochinski and Emilio Villalba a lot.
This is the most difficult question of the entire interview. I couldn’t define “lucidity” so I think the most correct way to answer it is to leave this space blank.
