WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND?

I was born in Turin in 1989 and I grew up in Biella. Since I was a child I have always drawn: on the notebook, on the desk, on the walls…until I started thinking that it could really become my job. After high school I attended in Milan’s IED the course of Illustration and Animation. Once I graduated I continued my studies with a masterclass in publishing illustration at the MiMaster school and a short course in Motion Design at NABA. After almost six “milanesi’s years”, I need to change and gain some experience abroad: I lived more than two years in London and then in New Zealand, before returning to Italy and gravitating a bit in the beautiful Florence. I currently live in Liguria… I love to change very often!

WHAT DO YOU GET INSPIRED TO CREATE YOUR ILLUSTRATIONS?

I’m often inspired by my travels, the thing I love most.

Maybe a landscape, a character I met or, more veiledly, the memory of a detail, a colour, a particular emotion.

WHAT ARE YOUR LUCIDITY PILLS?

“For an emotional drawing, you have to draw with your belly.”
“Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.”
