WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND?

When I was six years old, an age so distant that in remembering it, it fades away again, my uncle would play the piano and ask me to close my eyes and try to understand the meaning of that melody. The act of closing them did not imply estrangement from the world, but on the contrary, it created one within oneself. Since then, that imagination has become more and more spacious, finding a fascination in the first magazine editorials, in which an abstract imaginary found concreteness and its own particular perfection. When I finished high school I decided to study Fashion Design at the LABA in Florence, where I had the opportunity to understand the entire creative process and to test myself in very different fields, from marketing to design, from graphic design to sociology, thus creating a cultural and technical bulwark that would allow me to give a foundation to inclinations that were still abstract and to understand the real field of expertise. During the planning of the thesis I closed my eyes again, like so many years ago, and the project was there.

WHAT ARE YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION?

The outside: the writing on the wall, the sound of laughter at a table in a bar, the lights on in other people’s homes, I jot down, record, photograph, then back home connect the dots and create my drawing, my story.

WHAT ARE YOUR LUCIDITY PILLS?

Let your nature be to be superb and your life the art of looking at it, of being looked at you, of never being the same. To never be anything else.
