I’m Russian and I was born in Moscow. I came to Rome three years ago because I won a scholarship in IED. My background in illustration is this. I love my school with all my heart, it gave me a lot and pushed me to do better. I’m very grateful for having had very competent teachers, without whom my style maybe wouldn’t have formed so quickly. I learned so much from Riccardo Mannelli: he gave me the intuitive drawing. I try to convey emotions with drawing without thinking too much about embellishing it.
I’m very inspired by the ironic and absurd, I’m attracted to everyday life in general.
The people, the chatter and above all the ironic part of it. In my stories I tell a mixture of sadness and irony, because it represents my perception of life very well.
I don’t have any. I’m never lucid.
