I was born in Russia but I live in Italy since I was 12. In love with photography since I was little, I received my first camera the same year I moved to Italy and I start first photographic’s experiment with some friends.
I’m passionate in classical art, mostly about Pre-Raphaelite and Renaissance painters. They are my point of reference. My favorite subjects are women and delicate and innocent looking girls. I like to represent them in poses and ethereal expressions, adding some detail to make the shot more interesting. I don’t like to contaminate the natural beauty of faces and bodies, that’s why mine models have often nude make up.
Living in Milan it was inevitable to find myself working in the fashion world in which I try to maintain my aesthetic trait.
My sources of inspiration are painters and history of art, but I am also a huge fan of great photographers such as Tim Walker, Annie Leibovitz, Sarah Moon and also of a very young one like Marta Bevacqua.
